Are you referencing the story of Musashi (the greatest swordsman in Japanese history) where he goes to inspect/instruct a group of soldiers?
Aparantly, the only guy in an outfit of swordsmen that Musashifound to be developed enough as a true warrior ended up being a half trained and modestly ranked person in the dojo/school. The leaders of the school were puzzled as to why Musashi found that this guy was the only one that was truly highly developed.
Well, the half-trained guy said that every night before he goes to bed, he hangs his exposed sword by the handle from the ceiling by only a thin thread, right above where his head would be when he slept.
Aparantly, this man learned the true experience of being in a dangerous situation, where his life could end at any second. My guess is that you perceive death differently after contemplating it so long.
I feel the exact same way, Keck. I'm not truly up in arms right now. I've been upset in the past, but for now I'm having fun.
I will miss SpinningCloud very much. I will miss the others, too.

It's going to be hard to watch the 28th come and not be able to verbally spank SOE, especially when they apparently have either gotten use to it or are completely ignoring it now.
Harder though is all of you, I seriously will miss this forum.
We'll miss you too SC, definitely.
I feelI need to keep my opinion ot myself for the time being, so as not to become an unpopular figure around here.

Ya know what puzzles me?
We're basically being allowed to say anything we want here since Thursday when all this started.
Much of what we've said would have got us banned prior to this. Now maybe if we stray from our little contained area here we would but we seem to have free reign here.
I'm amazed that ANY company would silently allow it's customers to leave and especially to leave with hard feelings. It is about as poor business practice as I can imagine.

Sometimes the only thing to do is let people do what they need/want to. Maybe for once they're actually trying to help us realise that we should be leaving the game. Maybe but most unlikely they're doing it for us.
I'm going to stay around here until... I don't know... SWG2? Unless it sounds anything like DDO (instant travel, one city, 1000 player capped servers? Not the D&D I used to play...
