When you're feigned, you can't do ANYTHING except /examine. And the only thing that you (as the feigned player) can do to break the feign is to /stand.
Beyond that, there are a few techniques (like them or not) that a few other professions can use to break you out of feign...and no...if you ask, I'm not going to tell you.

Also, having had a smugler since Sept '03 I learned something new about Feign. It may be common knowledge to most of you, but you can drag a feigned smuggler to get them out of harms way. I was on my Swordsman/Doc alt with a couple of our smugglers on Dath last night when some heavy lag caused on of ours to walk into a spawn of 2 elders and 2 spellweavers... he got ripped and feigned at the last second. He knew with the insane bleeds he wouldn't be able to stand for a while and I ended up dragging him 30m farther away to buy him some time for when he stood as they were camping him. Was handy to know.
I have had the issue where I couldn't feign, however logging out and in fixed it for me.
