Almost as frustrating trying to get a straight answer out of a dev about the Smuggler revamp eh?
I don't know Duende1 at all, so I could be wwaaaaaayyy off in left field here - but we've go the "executive outline" of Duende1's proposal - if I were inhis/her (sorry - don't know) shoes, I wouldn't release any more detailed information about the idea until I've vetted the participants, made sure they were interested and weren't just "kicking the tires" so to speak - or trying to steal the idea.
The whole idea of a secret society is that, well, it's a secret (so ignore the fact it's on a public bulletin board :>

All great ideas pull from, and are built upon, other great ideas. Fight Club, the myths of the Free Masons and Illuminatti, Harvard's Skull & Crossbones, Phi Beta Capa, The Girl Scouts ... all groupsneed to share a vision. This group offers something for the casual &power gamers; the micro management freaks, the thinkers, the planners and numbnuts. This is a great game and we can use the rules to our advantage.

The whole thing sounds interesting, I just want to be sure I understand what it is exactly that we would be doing. I am just used to seeing "manager responses to employee concerns". And this response is not much different than when we(employees of my company) ask our managers why things are how they are.....anything but an actual answer to the question that was asked.

This, I believe, is the very premise of the organization. The vague ambiguity presented on the outside lays a shroud of mystery upon the entire thing. Already Duende has begun to accomplish this goal. Once he sets up the website, Im sure everything will become more clear.

Anyone here from corbantis interested in this?? If so i would like to get together if your willing to help with some privateer missions as well. Might as well get it going on our server. Send me Email in game. If your rebel or imperial and wanna help thats fine with me. Might be more help then i can get outta my guild. Thanx

The website will be up this week. I have the registration and login database ready. The only remaining things I need to do is PM a few of you, register the domain, lock down the internal blogand throw together a design. Granted, I'll only be slammed with mission critical projects until January, which in real life isn't so long, but it's a killer in game time. Haven't been on in a week and might only get 1-2 nights a week to play ... which is murder on my chef business.
But, I live with my email, so communication isn't a problem.Not to mention the site which will be up shortly. Since I'm here I'll send out some PM's and get that part taken care of ...
