As a result, I'm feeling, while not in ecstasy, quite jolly and upbeat.
I read this today and my jaw dropped open. I also read the subsequent replies and appreciate the well-intended sentiment, but I mean, "Come On, People!"
I'm just dumbfounded by the lack of awareness by SOE and the support team of the nature of the community in general, of the, frankly, resentment and hostility, that the community of gamers has for the SOE team, the way they've managed SWG, and the way they've conducted communications and feedback with the community.
In normal circumstances, I could see a post like the above, but with SOE and SWG, they've long ago depleted their goodwill bank with us, and as the prior gent said, its "show me" time. No props, no vapor, no marketing hype, just hard information about plans, about dates, and frankly again, SOE needs to build credibility and bank with the community, to get well up the curve of respect with the community again.
I'm just flabbergasted by the lack of awarenessby SOE and reps, of the state of the community-SOE relations, that someone would post something like this. Lets get a clue people, we've been in "show me" mode for sometime. Build some credibility before grabbing the pom poms, cause they're really offensive.

Not trying to single out Wes, I'm not, there's a lot of instances where they're prancing around giddy, among the angry mob, like they're clueless to the environment and mood of players.
And I'm not bitter, but it is what it is, we didn't deplete the Bank of Goodwill, SOE team did. They need to start funding it before they start making withdrawals again.

Sure, the entire *ponce* routine can be funny now and then, but after a while, seeing people with real game issues never getting replies to their issues and the communication Devs using their time to track down people mixing up gender... well, I guess I am just tired of seeing things done the wrong way. I just wish that some gamingissues got as much attention as Tiggs gender does...
Edit: Ignore me, I am just bitter and cranky since I cant log in to the game I am addicted to...

In case you missed out on the MAIN idea of this thread. Tiggs is the ONLY one communicating to us about our profession. She is the ONLY one actually lifting a finger to get our profession docs to us.
I think your assessment of the situation is beyond the word "incorrect".
