Damn, Wes, I thought you were kidding about putting |'s into the FAQ. Oh well. I guess one idiot makes it so we have to assume all people are incapable of logical thought and reasoning.

My opinion is that the |'s make it much more readable. Of course the HTML version looks better still.

If they don't read the stickies, and FAQ doesn't catch their eye, then they deserve whatever comes to them. Survival of the fittest in the information age.

Yes, survival of the fittest would be appropriate, if it wasn't for the fact of annonymity due to the internet. There's no way to kill them if you don't know who it is.

I think it's his and several other's mental health and general survival he's worried about. Another question that's been answered a thousand times and directed to the FAQ even more could cause a bit of him to go 'twang', or a part of him to snap .

What's a 'Shisa' and can I craft it?

A Shisa is a decorative piece of furniture. The single use schematic can be obtained by completing "Secrets of the Syren, Chapter two; More Than You Bargained For". To start the story arc (on chapter 1) go to the cantina in Tyrenna, Corellia and approach the Rebel officer, or the cantina in Bestine, Tatooine and approach the Imperial Officer there.

Requirements to craft: Delinquency IV, Shisa Single Use Schematic, 90 metal, 80 crystaline gem

Tool: Generic crafting tool, or a Furniture crafting tool.

Needs to be UPDATED:

I crafted one last night, and it did not come up as an option with Generic Crafting tool.

It only came up under the Structure and Furniture crafting tool andwas a little confusing whereby the Bubble Tank says a 'Generic Crafting Tool' is required, but on the Shisa, it says 'A Special Crafting Tool" is required.

I've also seen it posted in the 'Items and Loot' Forum that you can get the Shisa schematic by doing missions from the Criminal in the Coronet Cantina.

Actually, you get a Shisa, not the schematic, from Criminal missions.

Finally changed this, sorry for the delay; also added a link to SonGouki's weapons caps thread.

Tho I did find the FAQ helpful. I find some refinement is in order. So far as I have been slicing, I have been finding all the "rare" loot to be anything but. Talk with local BH's to find Reactive Armor Platings, Shock Absorbtion Padding, Mando/Trando Intraframes, ICB's, DTA's and the occasional FCTK. They loot them off their marks and they usually want to dump them somewhere because they can't use them unless they are Master Smugglers also. The only things I find "rare" are STK (simple toolkits) and Powered Motivators. I have yet to find anyone that drops them eventhough I am a MBH/MSm myself.

As for the pricings for slices, I've worked out a system. Per non-comp slices (1st stage and if they provide their own comps) I charge 2k per. For comp slices (components I supply), I charge an increased rate of 5k per.

I would agree that Master Smuggler is the ultimate mezzer only if paired with Master Pistoleer. UNfortunately, that template gives little power to fend for one's self in one-on-one. Tho I do find it increasingly amusing that I can ConcussionShot/PanicShot PVP Jedi while I am selling faction, and GTFO (Get the @#@ Out) of Dodge. Currently I am working with MBH/MSm. I find it underpowered than an elite weap prof/MBH but I mainly do it to farm slicing comps from my marks tho the absence of STK's quite annoying. I'm considering charging anything using those 10k because of their rarity, but I think thats only just my lazy shortcomings of not looking for any.

Spice Manufacturing sadly is bestused in conjuction with a partner who surveys/hunts for the comps or being a xxx4 Artisan/xx4x Scoutor Ranger yourself. No one wants to buy non-crated spices- waste of time-waste of resources. And is it just me or can i not experiment at all with spices?

Another small factoid. It seems you are able to slice BH terms BUT you get nothing from it. No increased income whatsoever.

If anyone wants to disclaim anything I have said, please do so, like everyone I am subject to being mistaken.

DarylCresting, bare in mind that this FAQ was created before the BH loot got revamped. Prior to this, the parts were very difficult to find.

Pricing. You've successfully undercut every smuggler in the game, congratulations.

As far as the rest of what you have to say is concerned, thank you, we really never knew how insanely borked our profession was until you came here and kindly pointed that out.

Pleasure to be of service... I think. Honestly I love smuggler as a profession. Its extremely versatile. You can choose between faction selling, slicing, and drug manufacturing. I live for the group experience and I believe I can provide a valuable asset to groups through my mezzing.

As for the pricing, I must admit I really didn't have much to go off of especially when theslicing comps were so readily available. But hopefully I gave current smugglers some tips on how to acquire them. Just walk around with your MSm tag on and BH's practically walk up to you looking to drop some baggage. I'd suggest hanging out around the BH terms on Kaadara or other BH term hubs. Though I still I have no clue on where to locate the STK's en masse.

So far I've figured the end price of faction buying from the recruiters to be 94.12 cpu. That includes purchasing them from the recruiter for 80 cpu (non-insp buff) and the tax for the delegation (.1765) at Colonel level in non Imp controlled planet (but not sure if that has anything to do with it or not). I sell mine for a good 105 cpu so at least I get some profit. Beware of the char's that just farm fp tho they sell them for alot less.

If that last post was indeed laced with sarcasm, I apologize for being blunt yet honest.
