I mean, everyday, the same questions, over and over, for over a year!!!
I wish I would've taken a screen shot of the forum last year, the only thing different would be the length of the Chuckle for the Smuggler thread!

however, seriously, i can feel your pain. I had my services denied by someone today, and at first I shrugged it off. If they don't want to pay what I charge, then that's their decision, and I'm on to my next customer. But he kept giving me /tells INSISTING that he knows someone who can consistently, without fail, achieve 35% dmg slices. He said it was cause of the resources his friend used.
Of course, like any of you would do, I tried to reason with this poor schmuck. I then told him that if his friend could guarantee those slices, he should use his services, not mine. He kept insisting. I refered him to these boards, where countless people have been put in their place by our FAQ and disillusioned realism of the Smuggler profession. I told him time and again that quality doesn't matter. And yet, the child wouldn't listen. He insisted his friend could get above 30% on every single slice.
So I asked him for his friend's name, so that I could speak with the person and "confirm" this.
I never heard from the boy again.

I always find it amazing all these people who ask for slices when they know someone that could give them better one.

I'm pushing to get mind healing back in. I'm sure the devs will agree to it straight after they revamp smugglers....

"Actually, despite what the correspondant says, it is not completely random. The devs left a few tools from the early days that increase the odds during a slice. Want a guaranteed 30% or higher slice? That's what I offer. Yes, resources don't matter, nor experimentation (yet) but it is not completely random. Ask any of the oldskool smugglers, and they will tell you the same thing."
anyone care to comment on that. personally i smell BS or exploit but i dont think this person would exploit or lie so openly in a public forum so /shrug

Although I think it would be very entertaining of Caylen went to that person out of the blue and just went bannana's on him ranting about how its all random and that he is an idiot. I would continue to play the game longer after that, oh yea, there would have to be screen shots as well.
