Hi guys, got a few question. forgive me if its been asked.

1. the space loot items, are they from random spawns? or do I need to take a mission from the space station?

Ive finished all the space missions to become Ace pilot, the only missions I can get now are from the space stations.

2. Same question for the land based loot, I took both missions on LOK for the mercs and hit the random spawns. nothing yet on eather. And the faction Imp, Reb, do they need to be missions or random?

3. If the space loot is from random spawns where over Dantdo you think is a good place to look in that sector? To be honest I haven't seen many random spawns of anything over lev 4, but I don't get up there much anymore.

I do so hate the idea of creating another set of crystal caves.... but i have looted both a Finely Crafted Toolset, and a Power Motivator.

Both same spot and both w/ in one hour... and as this is the only report of Finely crafted this place is now gonna suck... so if ya'll find any other drops post em too.

Anywho... details are the Erran Sif bunker (a poi on Talus) The lev's of NPC's there are roughly the 50's but they spawn pretty fast for a solo'r. The drop rates were not reproducable... as i went back and hunted for 2 hours and didn't get any others... But, i'm starting to think we can prolly loot these off of any "pirate'ish" or smuggler'esque npc's and the combat lev will predict which type of toolset you get.

Well, I spent the afternoon on Lok, killing random spawns of mercs and taking missions. I looted about 35k credits, a clear crystal, a decent CA (+4 pistol speed), and a whole bunch of non-special clothing. Slicing components? Not a single one.

its not like you HAVE to have your stuff sliced. Its not like your guildies HAVE to have their stuff sliced either. Your guns WILL still work unsliced.. if your lucky, you'll have sliced gear. its no longer everyones right to have sliced gear, and its no longer cheap and easy so get over it.. jeez. the old system was stupid anyway how easy it was to have something sliced so good riddance to that. Now slicing is actually valuable and (edit) NOT just some gimmick that 1337s practice.

i killed mercs and blood razors on lok but only looted +5 general ranged accuracy, which i was very glad to loot.

you DONT have to be Ace to kill t4's and t5's. it helps to have a decent ship though.

i agree- much easier to solo a t5 merc in space than some krayt so I have reason now not to surrender MSW

Of the three uncrated WUKs I had, i scored a power motivator on my first one. Then the other 2 were simple toolkits. Weird luck..

Remember folks..this system is new and SOE will adjust the drop rates of the various Slicing Loots as it is necessary. Remember the original loot kits? At first they were nearly impossible to get then within 2-4 weeks they were EVERYWHERE! Just gotta be patient

yea and its not like you dont get NOTHING from trying to loot slicing tools. You still get XP, credits, skill tapes, blacksun helms, ship loots, etc. instead..

You can still get duty missions from any trainer in your branch...if privateer all privateer trainers, if imp all imp trainers, if reb all reb trainers.
