Thread: Slicing Post-CU If you don't read this, you will die.
I sliced these weapons last night as a Master Smuggler...

Past few days I was slicing I get nothing but speed. And they are all 0%, 1%, 2%, -2%, yes negative 2%.
Been very borked, so i dont slice for anyone anymore.

Just sliced a scatter pistol for someone. Said 2% damage and 0% damage. They went from 3xx to 550DPS. (wish it did that on my personal DL44XT, and Renegade)
We were told at the Celebration Breakfast that maximums on weapons would be hard caps. That master smiths and high-end materials and tissues woudl be necessary to accomplish the cap, but that only slicing could take it beyond the cap (since slicing is a percentage, it has an effective cap already). My experience is that slicing seems to hit the cap as well. Really excellent weapons get less of a boost from a slice than a peice of junk conversion weapon.

well, for the weapons people have begged me to slice. cause i wont advertise slicing until this is fixed.

Yeah I dont advertise anymore cause of this as well. Because the average player doesnt come on the boards so they dont understand what is going on with smuggler atm. But there are ones that do understand and pay ten fold to hope for a bugged slice.

Yes they are all coming out with those numbers ... but did you do the math on the weapon after to see if it was correct? The numbers it is displaying ont he system messages are not accurate to what the acutal weapon is. I got a 0% and a 2% for a BH, and both scatters went from 3xx to 550DPS.

i am almost tempted to slice my Renegade pistol just to try it out.
