I have to hunt down meatlumps to get any or buy them.
I'm lvl 3 in slicing and when I advertised on the global tab I got a repsponse form someone wanting to sell me - I didn't ask how many - LCs for the grind.
My reply was that I'm not buying LCs to grind out XP and if I wanted LCs I'd go get them myself.
If nothibng wlse I'd get combat XP to trade for FS XP.
It appears there is a business in selling LCs to slicing grinders.
Maybe that is where all the LCs are. In someone's inventory.
I'llget my XPin time.
BTW the trade window was bugged Sunday and cost me 165k for a pair of boots I couldn't return

I've noticed a bit of a drop on Farstar as I was grinding smuggler, however I did see some vendors with pages and pages of LC's for 10k each.
Thankfully I managed to make it to slicing2 without resorting to buying any.
Anyone wanna buy a 20% speed sliced dagger?

For those on farstar, as many novice smugglers don't have the luck to get many locked containers for low prices, sell your lcs if you don't need them for the grind to a vendor from D'rangoe phett. He's buying (and selling) them for 1k.

So now that u guys dont get slicing xp .. what the heck are locked containers good for?? I got 50 or more .. are they gonna start letting them actually have any good loot in them now?

They are good for possibly getting slicing components. I saw one report of someone getting a simple toolkit in one.

indeed they do .. and i got lots of trash too . Hmmm (wonder if i can re-name a locked container and sell them as trash cans)

I dont know if you guys know this or not but.. technically.. you DO still get slicing XP!
YOu gain it still through the usual route, but all it is good for, is for converting to Force Sensitve XP i.e. Forces Sences/reflexes.. whatever the crafting one is.

2 things.
1:We get slicing xp from slicing one thingonly now.
2: The slicing xp converts into Heightened Senses FS xp, the crafting xp goes into the crafting fs xp.
