Jedi BEFORE the Empire were about upholding the law and peacekeeping. Jedi in this time period are illegal. They have no law enforcement powers at this time, so aside from them existing at all, they are no broken mechanics effecting what a Jedi is in this time period... well, except for the fact that they are not being slaughtered when seen in public.
Now, were there missions where a smuggler could actually have to transport illegal goods from client a to client b, that would be nice. Especially if there were Imperial customs officers in starports, and possible ambushes by rivals along the way... and space blockades, and.... oh, sorry, was getting myself excited there.

Oh, and for the record, I still cannot smuggle this morning.
Fortunately I can still drink beer in the cantina, so I am trying to perfect my Han Solo/Mos Eisley Cantina skill set. I have no wookiee to growl at people, but I have a twi'lek that yelps when I pull her lekku, so I just pretend.
