Like I said earlier guys, I will continue use and continue to get damage slices on my high end weapons.Since everyone feels that the slicing universe is flat andsince I suggest otherwise I guess that makes mea heretic. But wasn't Columbus a heretic also. As I challenged Spittingwheel and he was to scared to take the offer it is now out there to anyone that is in the US. Send me your phone # and well work out a convient time and we can try it over the phone. With the way I suggest just blindly slicing continues will not showwhatI am suggesting. That is nottaking the second slice unlessit is the color that corrilated to the prevous slice of the same kind of weapon.

If you can't make it 100% sure, then there is no pattern.
IT. IS. PURE. DUMB. LUCK.

Samsaw; "I will continue use and continue to get damage slices on my high end weapons."
Yep, you sure will! 50% of the time...just like the experiment you DID showed...58%...statistically insignificant difference from 50% for your sample size.
You REALLY don't get it at all do you?

ROFLMAO SpittingWheel you sound like a broken record now put up or shut by talking RL with me telling you which when to proceed with the slice or not.

I hate to tell you this, but the other gentleman did the test slices and just continued slicing and writing down the results is truly not doing what I have been explaining. It really feels like I'm talking to a bunch of rocks. So I guess I will continue to enjoy my extra edge on getting damage slices for my high end weapons and will be more than happy to disguss and talk anyone who has a open mind and not afraid to come out of there shell. All they need to do is send me a PM with there Phone # and a convient time to call and if not then I will try to work out a time.

Samaw...there has been a long documented slice run that proved it was random. A DEVELOPER, as in someone who MADE THE GAME, said it was random. What you are talking about is the fallacy of small numbers. You observe a trend in even 100 slices and think it's a sign. It's not. There are literally millions of slices done in a month. 100 will not tell you anything about that 1 MILLION. It's random. Let it go.

Here's a better question: Why makes you think any of us would want to give you our phone numbers? Specifically to test something you have already said only works fifty-eight percent of the time. SpinningCloud is right, that is statistically unreliable.
/scenario
Guy: "Mr. President! I've learned that RandomForeignNation is preparing to attack with Nuclear Pies!"
Pres: "Good Lord! How accurate is your information?"
Guy: "Fifty-eight percent, sir!"
Pres: "..."
Guy: "We must warn everyone and start distributing the lead-lined ponchos!"

If you go back and look at my original post it says 80%, the 58% you are refering to is I agreed that his results were 58% but he was not doing exactly as I was stating either!!! So I personelly could care less if you want to be a rock, I am just trying to help out my fellow smugglers.

You know, something tells me that if God came to Samaw's house, knocked on his door, and said: "Hey, I just stopped by to let you know, Slices really are random." Samaw would say to Him: "Here, lemme show you how you're wrong."
And that if a Developer showed up at Samaw's house, knocked on his door, and said the same thing, Samaw would reply: "Sure they are, I totally believe you."*nudge-nudge wink-wink*
This guy's almost on par with ana-mo-cara.

You know the absolute worst part for me is that he managed to take the last amusing recurring thread and beat it with a boring stick.
What is there left now of Smuggler to find entertaining? I suppose I'll have to wait for Sony to get off their duff and actually change something substantial about the profession...and I don't just mean giving us a jacuzzi-sized Frog Bowl to craft.
