Yes, you can usually tell I'm not entirely myself when there'sno smilies from me

I don't suppose anyone has 4000 words they can give me toflesh out my dissertation? (Oh, and don't anyone do a C&P fest of 4000 words, that's just silly... probably why I thought of it )

Something is happening with Underworld IV. hmmm...

A hint?!? an indication of whether or not we should get out the confetti or the razor-blades? leaning to good or bad?? I keep asking my Magic 8-Ball (tm) and my Yoda furby, but they keep telling me that the answer is hazy and "always in motion the future is".

I'll drop hints when I know exactly what I'm dropping.. if that makes any sense.

I know you can't say anything at this point. Just fun teasing.

Also amusing to watch the collective mental state of this board and the dramatic mood swings that we all enthusiasticly engage it. Your thesis doesn't have to do with "mob psychology on anonymous internet boards" by any chance, does it? If so, you should have been able to finish months ago.

And why do they have to make us wait for the freakin' announcement anyway? If he knew something when he made the tease post, he should have just made the announcement already.

We all know that SOE is a corporation, or at least part of one. They have everything planned out on a schedule and in procedures. If you're stuck in a cubicle (like I am *groan*) you should know that the procedure is much more important than things like logic.

Oh, I'm in a cubicle, but luckily I work for a company that actually cares somewhat about their customers...

EDIT: Not fair, SoE is trying to make the game better for everyone, but sometimes they really need to work on their PR and CS. That's what I meant...

To be even more fair, LucasArts handles their PR.

Theed was a bustling commerce city...people hawked their wares, danced, laughed, dueled, and had a rollicking good time. Cantinas packed with Entertainers of every race, shape and size...along with scoundrels, Stormtroopers, and drunks. People grouped up and stuck together in the wilderness, and you ALWAYS took a Scout or a Ranger with you. We lived our own Star Wars saga. We created our own personas, our own histories, and it all blended into this wonderful, magical experience that I will always remember...

That magic is gone now, but I'd pay 50 bucks a month to have it back.

Editor's Note: The author of the above post has quit giving SOE her money. She suggests you do the same, because this game will never be what you want it to be.

Are you kidding me!? ilove it...these have been some of the best Wes posts in months. The ol' chap had me smiling at each and every one. Truly he has been studying up on his devspeak (the only language we don't get at UW1).

I'll be patient and wait.

Lets hope it is worth it.

You guys are nuts saying Wes is talking dev doublespeak. It's cool to kid, but he is bound by actual laws not to disclose information.

I'm sure I'd be triplespeaking in order to save MY bacon from a run in with the law.

All Wes is doing is trying to have fun with the limitations put upon him by acting goofy

Well if they know they're GOING to make some announcement why don't they just go and MAKE it and be done with it so we can all stop chattering pointlessly about it and Wes can stop dancing....afterall he's a Smuggler not a Dancer.

No, I think they will cause wounds. Pop a moun and a few minutes later your mind-stats are toast.

Entertainers will love it.

You know... that's NOT a bad idea. Spices that CAUSE wounds to help players through the grinding. It just might work!
