Stand next to a Item Crafting Station in town, or someone who has an item crafting droid or a station in their house.

When you create a clamp, instead of selecting "Create Prototype:", you'll select "Create Prototype". Make sure you have enough resources to make the amount of clamps you want after making the schematic. For example, I stick with copper, because that can be used in every metal slot for making clamps. So 9090 copper is enough to make the schematic (eats 90 resources) and then 9000 copper for 100 clamps.

Then you get an equipment factory, go outside of town far enough to place it. Put maintenance and energy in the factory. Then select the "Access Schematic Slot" option, put the clamp schematic in. Select "Access Ingredient Hopper" and put in your resources. Then select "Start Manufacturing". Your factory will now begin making clamps and will tell you when it's done.

I believe100 clamps takes roughly 90 minutes to complete.
