I play my fair share of space flight games (If anyone has heard of Escape Velocity, i love you) and have thought about names-
Flaming Rage and Raging Flame, Ideally my two corellian corvette flagships
Tarnished Blade, my old favorite
Odious Encounter, been probably my top choice for a while, as you can see
Rue the Day, Another one i like. My old IDA Frigate was named Rue the Day.... how i love IDA Frigates. A pity I had to give in and buy a Raven, though

I'm a Bothan so I'd call my ship:
"Smells like Wet Dog"
(And I'd have a WWII-style painting of a lounging, scantily-clad bothan female on the side of the ship. And of course, I'll need the ship with built-in Milk-Bone dispensers and plenty of rawhide bones to chew on those long smuggler runs).
Whoo hoo! Someone recognized my Anime roots! Bad Influence seems like a cool name... but what about also:

I would call my ship "Queen Amadala's Revenge" in tribute to my favorite pirate Blackbeard's ship "Queen Anne's Revenge", If I was a dirty man, "Outer-Rim Job" would be a good one too.
I would have to name my second choice, "The Freelancer" in tribute to my guild, Blacknova Freelancers Association.
Third choice, and the most unoriginal one, would be named after my character, "The Gost Rider".
Ship type? I will just have to play the wait and see game. As long as it has gunnery positions on it I am a happy camper,...there's another name,.."The Happy Camper". Ah, the creative juices flow,..

Well my name is Bossov Sla've, so of course Sla've I comes to mind. My char in DAoC was named Slave One, and that's where the last name comes from. But I most likely won't use that name as I'm not a fan of the "Buba Fatt" and "Duke Skywallker" folks littering the galaxies out there. Haven't given it much thought, since I always assumed we wouldn't be able to give our ships names. Well just becasue we can't name our ships doesn't mean they can't have names, right? So here's a few off the top of my furry head...

Linda On My Mind( or maybe something more Star Wars-y like Lo'an On My Mind)

Dunno though, I'll have to roll these names around on my brain for a while and see how I like them.
