Liev Schreiber, played John Clark in Sum of All Fears, I think could do it.
- as a side note, Rainbow Six is slated for 2007, but John Clark in the book was much older, probably in his late 40s or early 50s.
I think he's on deck to play Clark in Without Remorse, which is one of my favorite Clancy books. If you ever want to take revenge on someone, just read Without Remorse and you'll know what to do.
1) Without Remorse
2) Clear and Present Danger
3) Holy Blood and the Holy Grail
4) Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell
People would say that Willem DaFoe couldn't play Clark... I think he is a good John Clark. Get Ethok in here, he has "Opinions" on things like this.

Dear MacGyver, Enclosed is a rubber band, a paperclip, and a drinking straw. Please save my dog.
I love that part... It was so unexpected. But then, most of the stuff on that show is.

MacGyver... I hear rumors that he is being considered to play Sam Fisher in the Splinter Cell movie. I could see it happening.
The best part of being MacGuyver:
He is a chick magnet, he gets more @$$ than James Bond. I grew up on that show.
The sad thing is everybody I work with has learned that I keep a backpack full of 'stuff' in the trunk of my car, so if they need a flashlight(or four), knives(two in my pocket, three in the trunk), tape(three kinds mind you), spare fastener, water, WD40, lighter(s), flare(s), fix a flat, bag, change of clothes(honest to god truth), belt, strips of leather, handcuff key, saw, shovel, rope, twine, first aid kit(s). Then they know I have it.
