Thread: [idea] Cross-Server Smuggler's Den

My guess for the contact part, will be the link to the website he is talking about.
Am I reading this whole thing right, when I interpret the meaning of the initial post to mean that we will form a "smugglar" syndicate that will attempt to control all smugglar related activities on each of the servers??? You know, kinda like an organized crime ring within SWG???

Throw in a teamspeak channel and I'm in - would be nice to communicate cross-server with other smugglers.

As it stands, Phase I will work as follows:
- I will edit my original post to say, "Nothing to see here folks. Just move along and don't look back ... What? You're still here? I said to hit the road! ... Hmmm? Ok then, Space Monkey, if you think you got what it takes then visit this address. Go alone, keep your eyes out for anytails and if you make it as far as the door, tell them I sent you." New people to the forums will notice the edit, read the thread, visit the site and probably post back into the forums with questions and comments.Under cover ofthe insuing inqueries, confusions and misconceptions, we willsee the rumors and hear the whispering spread.
- I will send ingame emails and add the "definites" as friends withthe same description for easy sorting.
- Oncethe group has a secure meeting place in the new web site... we'll chat, but most importantly we'll take action. I'll try to keep the site as a quick contact point and information center.I don't want totake us away fromthis forum.
- As some of us let it slip that we belong to a "group" then those new people can visit this forum or the site directly.
DeIncRampage questions if the goal is to, "...control all smuggler related activities." Let it be known that the Smuggler is potentiallythe greatest profession but it is only one of our titles. Any control we have over anything will be a secondary (if not a tertiary) result of our teamwork andeffectiveness.
If some of us choose to intelligently roleplay the smuggler, then feel free. Like many things we will do, there will be some general guidelines that can't be broken, but otherwise we are all free to be ourselves. For some, we could be the next rival organization moving in on the Hutts & Lady Valerian. For otherswe might be the next resource & lootpower brokers. But some will simplyget off on being in a highly motivated, goal oriented group that supports its' members.
This game cannot be enjoyed without community, credits or resources. Community being the most important ...Ijustset up a framework and goal structureto get us all we need of all three.
