Thread: IQ test
Insightful linguists can take complex concepts and articulate them to just about anyone. You have a gift with words and insight into processes and the way people think. These talents enable you to explain things clearly to people. Helen Keller is a great example of an Insightful Linguist. Blind, deaf and mute, she was still able to put things together in her mind and to understand complex ideas. She could do that because she was able to conceptualise ideas internally. Though she could not literally see, she had the visual and spatial skills necessary to understand patterns on an abstract level. She learned to read, write and ultimately became a writer on issues of social justice.

Like a meticulous collector, you've fed your brain a unique set of facts and figures over the years. Words, numbers, you've got it all. That's what makes you a Facts Curator.
Whether or not you intend to absorb every piece of information that comes your way, your mind has certain steel-trap qualities to it. You are a knowledge sponge. You have almost enough words in your head to fill a dictionary, and you're equally adept when it comes to manipulating numbers. You can also detect important patterns in number sequences, and probably remember the mnemonic devices you were taught in your early school years.

why do you all have 130+?
cause the majority of you :
- are lieing
- took the test more then once
- got help (internet, friends)
-only people with high scores posted
sure some are telling the truth, just not all of you.

Because we got all 25 questions correct, and they randomly pick a number between 130 and 140 to assign. I know for a fact my IQ is higher than they said, because I had to get it tested a couple dozen times in college participating in research studies. I'd say a lot of people on the boards have IQs higher than 130, especially the Smuggler community.
Smugglers FTW!!!

Actually, the reason everybodies IQ is above average is probably because an online IQ test isn't 100% acurate. A real IQ test not only look at what you answered, they also look at how long it took you to answer each question.

They would also look at your lunch to see if you were smart enough to eat Pie.
And Smugglers all eat pie, hence the high IQ scores.

I'm voting on "Only people with high scores posted"
/sigh But here's the deal. MMOs more than other games, SWG more than other MMOs, is very esoteric. There's no set goal, it's not necessary to run around shooting things, etc. Of course it's going to appeal to nerds
Besides, if you read further, you'd see that the scores are based on the average of who took this particular test through Tickle, not through the real national average. So that can definitely affect the scores.
As for most of these smuggly types, I don't see them lying about their massive brains
I personally didn't, took the test only once, and didn't get help from the internet or friends. (Okay, I used a scratch pad for math on the pythagorean theorem question ((I suck at squares
Hmmm...Does eating pie make you a genius?
Or does drinking beer make you gullible enough to believe an IQ test you found in a pop-up ad? ![]()
In my humble opinion, having a glowstick that can chop someone's arms off will make you an influential person, if not necessarily the smartest.
But then again, post-CU, my glowstick can pretty much just give someone a really bad papercut. and you know how much those hurt!

Jedi
So the Jedi are like Stalin? Just killing all the people smarter than them so they can lower the average?

Of course not. All the really smart people will know enough not to piss off the Jedi in the first place ![]()

There's a difference between "Jedi" and "Glowstick Jockey". "Jedi" are wise, respectful, respected, just, and not flaming tards. "Glowstick Jockies" are little boys who couldn't afford an SUV to make up for... shortcomings but could spend 4 months straight grinding.
