As much as I enjoy these, I wont be stickying them. The chuckle thread is the only exception to the rule I have about on-topic, informative sticky threads. If I start bending, we will have people needing to go to page 2, just to see what isn't a sticky
Great work Franklee, very fun to read

I appreciate the comments, and agree with not stickying it. It's a story for recreation, not a question or a game guide or anything like that. Besides, if I keep up with installments, it'll stay bumped.
As to the droid, yes. He's a 'remote' for the AI on the High Tide. My friend (who quit SWG, sadly) wrote the story from the navcomputer's point of view, and I liked the way it read. It's a nonstandard prototype AI, and it pushed itself into the High Tide, now it's secured for itself some arms and legs. I wanted to show it as growing and hungry, and also give my friend a little more to work with, if/when he wants to do more 'droid's point of view' kind of stories.

Awesome as always, FrankLee. Just one question, to claify: The AI from the ship has transplanted its (or part of its) consciousness into the LE Repair droid, right? Because it's sounding a whole lot like the ship's computer (which may have at one time been the AI from the ship that was lost over Dallet-2).
Oh, one other thing. Caylin, can we get this stickied? It rocks.

Just do as I do. Add it to your bookmarks. That way when anyone posts here you will know.

Very well, I shall just have to float it myself (both through bumping for everyone else to see, and by clicking that little thingy next to the post on the main page).
I hope you are keeping a copy on your own machine somewhere, and will eventually put it into some sort of E-Book, or something similar. I'd love to be able to read it as a whole, without all the breaks, and comments that appear in the forum format
