What really hurt when that was cancelled was that some of the unaired episodes were the best of the lot! Thankfully they're on the box set.I wouldn't say this is my favourite episode, but the one that made me laugh the most was the one were Jayne was considered a folk hero on one particular planet due to a botched robbery. The song about Jayne just rocks :>Cheers

Have to agree with that. There's no 'best' because they're all just so good in their own ways. Jaynestown was indeed the most amusing of the lot. And it still managed to build and develop over half the characters.

In a way I'm kind of glad so few gems were made. It makes it so easy to love the entire package. It adds so much mystery to all the unsaid backgrounds. Given more time to mature it would've seen some truly bright spots and some horridly bad shows. We couldn't point and say 'That there. That's a tv show where you will sit down and you will enjoy every single episode from start to finish.'

A bump for the ticking clock.
Do you know when Serenity will be in a theater near you?
And Lunah, did you watch the series?
Sept 30. (I think)
I do wonder though why the trailer says 6 Rebels and not 9, especially as IMDB has all of Serenity's crew/Firefly's cast listed for main roles.

OMG the original cast?!?! I wanted to see the movie but thought it wouldnt be quite the same if I had to see others struggling to spark the magic that the original cast had from the first day. I can remember the last time a show made me actually laugh and feel happy, but this show does it. I laughed till I cried at the opening shot of Mal sitting in the desert naked in the last episode I watched. I just knew it was going to be an epic story.
Thinking of that girl when she was coming on to Mal...I'll be in my bunk, again.
Well, since the thread was bumped, we might as well add a link for anyone who hasn't seen

i've been thinking about that "6 rebels" thing for a while, now, and the only thing i can figure is that the six are mal, zoe, jayne, wash, kaylee, and simon. book and inara were never wanted criminals, as they were just passengers. in fact, i have a hard time imagining book ever getting in any trouble just because of his mysterious pull with the alliance. this does make me wonder, though, if he's actually not a good guy.
say what you want about the show, but you have to, at the very least, give it serious respect for character depth. come up with one crazy theory (like book being an alliance agent, for example), and the rest of the show you see people differently. hell, my second watching of the season, MANY of book's facial expressions took on a different meaning. i'm not saying that i really think he's an alliance agent, but...that would be "special."
anyway, i found a thread in the forums a while ago that showed how to replace music in game with your own MP3s. for those of you who know how to do that, this link might be fun:

Thanks man, that kicked arse.
I'm glad they made a new trailer. Although it seems it may have spoiled some of the funny parts, it is much less cliche then the first one.
