Thread: pub 19 live results on wuk/auk conversion

I don't understand.... did anyone store UNcrated WUK/AUKs on a vendor and have them convert? I uncrated all 1200+ of mine and stored them on my alts vendor. None of them are getting the salvage option. Is anyone else suffering from this?

yep, same here i only get "use" "examine" "destroy" nothing else
one more thing, where are we meant to get these tools ? or are we once again going to have to beg for them or pay extorsionate prices from theloot campers

Someone has to help this situation.. I am never on the forums. Only reason I am today was because of all this confusion. In fact, probably would not be here now if my hubby had not told me to check the forums. I have played for over a year but rarely have time to go through all the threads in forums. This is beyond the "unfair" it is unjust. I had just spent the last of my credits to purchase crates of precision tools, upgrade kits, and molecular clamps. I do not play everyday, not even every week. I have a job,family, a real life. I was not aware that all of this was coming about. IT sucks. I am broke.

Yeah, the CH's got smacked hard with this publish.
Devs really need to start reading bug reports and bug threads before subjecting us to that kind of torture.

Roughly 1300 WUKs and AUKs, all uncrated across a virtual suburb of small houses. ALL of them were uncrated Sunday night and ALL of them were stored in backpacks, including the three in my inventory. NONE of them have a salvage option. The few kits I kept uncrated in my droids also do not have a salvage option.

ok well was in the garden having a smoke bored of converting kits and had a random thought...
i know knothing of game/server mechanics so this is totally unfounded and untested but here it is
if you uncrate wuk now and they have no conversion when the server resets will it recognise that you have wuk in your inventory and make them convertable
please remember its just a thought and dont turn it into a roomer or get your hopes up
maby someone who understands how swg works could say if they think this is possibal or impossibal

Looks like its back to my equip factories today to make new AUK's and WUK's. Hope new ones are converted or I have new schemes.

that sounds like it may work...unlesscrated A/WUKs were somehow tagged as they came out of the crate.

thats what i was thinking but well you know soe they probably have just to anoy us hehe either way ill be carying around a non convertable one for the next reset and post if it converts
