g. If your going to slag me off personally because I cause a good debate here what the hell are you doing here, to flame every challanging discussion without adding anything but negativity to every thread you post on -YOU ARE KILLIN ME. YOUR TITLE "WHATS YOUR BEEF" SAYS IT ALL. WE DEBATE ALL THE TIME ITS NOT YOUR POINT OF VIEW ITS THE "BE GREATFULL FOR WHAT YOU HAVE" ATTITUDE OF YOURSTHAT SHOWS AN OVER ALL LACK OF KNOWLEGE OR EVEN A LITTLE EMPATHYABOUT WHAT WE HAVE BEEN WORKING FOR, FOR DAMN NEAR A YEAR.THAT IS THE ISSUE..I look at previous posts by the flamers here and wonder why you even bother with the game, all you seem to do is flame people with an un-educated negative attitude at every chance. - DUDE YOU STARTED THE FLAME THREAD NOT US. ALSO I HATE TO TELL YOU THIS BUT THIS BOARD HAS ALMOST NO FLAMES ON IT BECAUSE THIS COMMUNITY AS A WHOLE DOES NOT DO IT. IF DONT BELIEVE ME DIG A LITTLE YOU WILL FIND VERY FEW OF THEM.
h. I never once back peddled on this thread, maybe some people mis-interpreted the intent of this thread, but my points have remained constant and my argument the same, this thread was intended to get the attention of new people here and make them think oh wow maybe there is something fun to do with smuggler while we wait for ships in the SEP, - YOU EVER THINK THERE MIGHT HAVE BEEN A BETTER WAY TO PRESENT YOUR POSITIVE MESSAGE?I mean your smugglers on land you have a very diverse set of fun skills, in space your going have more than anyone else (if the devs pull through) -LOOK IT IS VERY SIMPLE YOUR ORIGINAL POST WAS A FLAME NOT A POSITIVE SO EXPECT PEOPLE TO BE PISSED OFF. IM AMAZED YOU DONT SEE THAT.
Anyway try and take something constructive from what you think yourself and apply it to an argument, and at least don't put every tom, **edit** and harry off smuggler by the negativity which is being displayed that is my point and always has been.
To the original poster:
Go away.
If you found smuggler so glorious and peachy in its current state, you wouldn't have dropped it.
Case closed.

I agree but the right place for smuggling has always been SEP, and it will come with that. We can smuggle stuff on the ground, past Imperial checkpoints and Planetary authorities.I'm just saying as far as the threads in this forum claiming this is the most broken profession in the game, it's simply not, this profession has it good, even if it does not have the ability to smuggle yet, each and every person who took smuggler knows there is no ships in this game right now, and each and every smuggler can look at the skill trees before taking it. We are SMUGGLERS, not Faction-Sellers, Drug-Makers, or Hackers. I'm saying this class is one of the best still, I tried to envoke reaction and start a good debate, so some extent I've done that but there is far too many people just not reading the whole thing like the 2 replys above yours. I have recognised the argument of people here and learned a lot from the sensible posts on this thread. My title is totally tounge in cheek and I admit a bit dramatic, but the argument and underlying point remains the same, this is a damn good profession with some of the best most diverse content in the game, lacking only one aspect the ability to smuggle and with SEP hopefully it will get it. I would agree.

I have read every word in this thread. We are not, as a group, unaware of the benefits that exist for the "smuggler" in SWG as it exists now. But to come in and ask the question that you have askedin the subject of this thread is to invite the sort of responses that you have received. For the most part the smuggler community has if not the best correspondent one of and certainly the most informed, balanced, and patient group of players in the game. I for one have made multi millions of credits. It isn't about the money.
It is about being smugglers and not being able to smuggle. THAT is the issue.

im done, good luck to you Lindz.....
Thanks for the comments Willbur, I missed the current implementation out completely due to it being completely useless and stupid, i recognise peoples beef with the current implementation of 'smuggling' within the class. I can't wait for SEP and no doublt I'll be a full time smuggler again by then (if I can afford another account or get my old one back from my better half
)
Anyway guys I can see this has turned into flame fest 2004 now, and hey maybe I deserved it to some degree as my original question was worded in a very **edit**, you have it good kind of way. Maybe some of you realize you actually have a great class now, maybe you don't, maybe your just itching for SEP, maybe you just like a fight, whatever. I'll get out of your face which ever way it lies ![]()
Take care and thanks for the responses (and flames
)
