Every day that goes by the do something, or don't do something, that ONLY makes my resolve stronger. For a long time I looked for ANYTHING to use as an excuse to stay. I can not any longer justify giving these jerks another penny. And I will write a letter to their parent company Sony telling them that I'm extending my boycott to their entire company and all subsidieries. I have no use for them any longer, they are NOT entertaining.

I never implied we had a revamp. I am just saying... as of now they have no reason to not justify giving us a revamp besides the excuse they have other things to worry about. If we all get banned, they will have the excuse: "why make a smuggler revamp if there are no smugglers." I can see there is no Revamp. And unlike most smugglers, like the pessimist I am, I cannot see one ever in our future.

All I was implying was, If we get banned, they would have an actual excuse why they will not give us a revamp. Right now they don't really have one.

i'm only slightly less pissed than you man.

but i'm getting there. i would definitely make a concious effort to never buy another Sony product again. but what about Lucas Arts. they've made many of the bad decisions for this game. could we honestly say we'd never buy another LA product again?
i don't think i could say that. Empire at War looks like really kickass Star Wars game...

LA hasn't made a game I've honestly been thrilled with since... Full Throttle.

If, after TWO YEARS they decided to say "Well there are no Smugglers so no need for a revamp" because a bunch of us got banned for asking for a revamp, the trade mags and websites would overflow with articles and posts about how SOE "Bans people for asking for game improvements, then says there is no one to ask for them anymore."

Try and use a little more logic next time.

You're asking me could I patronize a company again after they strung me along for two years? I would most certainly think VERY hard about even buying an LA game at this point.

As nice as it might seem I don't think I want Sony and Lucas Arts brand of customer frustration in my life any more.

I'm not turning on anyone. I'm trying to explain that if SOE banned all the Smugglers and then tried to parlay that into an excuse for not giving a revamp, it would be a circular argument.

"We banned all the Smugglers."

"There are no Smugglers on the forum so we won't be doing a revamp for that profession."

"Where did all the Smugglers on the forum go?"

"We banned all the Smugglers."

After seeing "needs" be passed up for serving up player "wants", it is hard to imagine that someone is even caring about the players.

Whoah... I was trying to support your argument Gaitan. All I am trying to say is that the forum base is the most adiment about the smuggler revamp. Most of the smugglers who play in-game who don't post here either don't care or care and don't know how to go about stating their disgust.

If the devs decide to not give us a revamp. It will be as simple as that. They will more then likely just refuse to talk to us.. Hoping we will get bored and go away. This hasn't happened yet and juding by all these smugglers who are loyal to their career, it won't happen.

This whole situation that happened to Angus has erupted into this mass hysteria. I don't like it anymore then you guys, but I think we need to stop attacking eachother and realize who are the ones who have caused all these problems.
