1. That should be answered in the FAQ. You need a food and chemical crafting tool and craft it near a food and chemica crafting station or a droid with food and chemical crafting station built in. I prefer the droid method, since I can do it next to myfood and chemicalfactoryright before I put the resources in and start it up.

2. Well, depends on what shock aborbent padding is going for on your server. If they are selling for about that, jump on the AUK's. I think I got around 1-2 per AUK crate I converted, so figure on that. The WUK crates I wouldn't pay more than 250k per crate personally, just because the only thing half-way rare you get out of those is the finely crafted toolkits. Everything else you'd get from the WUK's is pretty common right now.

3. I use mostly specials from other professions to be honest. The only thing from smuggler I use often is low blow, for the combat slow.

4. I try to stay out of situations where I'll need to crowd control, simply because it's not very reliable. If I have to, I pull out my launcher pistol and fire off concussion shot, then change back to my FWG-5 and start getting distance. If that doesn't do the trick, I'll start trying to feign. (unless it's PvP, then you might as well just fire off a last ditch and hope it bails you out)

Too much!! I know that I am as guilty of this as everyone else (I auction my padding off for 2-5 million a set of 7, and slice armor to cust max for free with auction win) but your talking about paying almost half a million per padding!

On the other hand....just did a quick vendor search on tarq, and it looks like they are going for almost that anyway....
