Whoa...this changed...something is missing...

I switched from privateer to rebel pilot. didn't realize I had to surrender my skills first, and so when I spoke with the rebel pilot trainer da'la, you know what she called me? Smuggler. She read my tag? oh wait, no... well, at least someone considered me a smuggler.
Two theories.
1. Since our profession is essentially worthless aside from the ability to generate /tells from total morons, SOE is just going to sort of merge the smuggler prof into privateer, and not tell anyone because they figure no one will notice.
2. SMUGGLERS GET THE SHAFT ON PVP AGAIN!!! Ok, I want to be a true blue smuggler, and be hunted by bh's for screwing up my mission. TOO BAD. Even if you could get hunted, you wouldn't win as a plain old smuggler. I want to be a smuggler's alliance pilot and smuggle things for jabba/valarian/whoever and have opposing faction players try and stop me. TOO BAD.
Has anyone noticed that we need a criminal faction more than anything else? Like they had planned originally? In the before time?

How would you like it if every slack-jawed yokel thought he was your profession just because of a dumb name for some NPC's. We work hard to be smugglers. We work hard to feel like smugglers even though we don't smuggle. And many of the smugglers here on the forum bleed sweat and cry for this profession. So pardon us if we're a little touchy on the subject. Your comment about us being assinine about this is neither constructive nor appropriate. If I've misunderstood your comment my full apologies.
