I like the idea that its a real Last Ditch now. I've also always had the notion that a Smuggler-type character should get tougher as he takes damage, kinda because the more he gets hurt, the more determined he becomes to come out on top and make a smartassed remark over the other guy's corpse.
wow, that is a great statement. I hope that is true.

I really do get more determined (pissed off) when I get hit in game...

Obviously it hasn't been tested yet, but this just might be the "new" way Feign Death is intended. Instead of being the "i give up - kill me" skill it's turned into, now someone really as to wonder if walking up for the DB is worth it? Is the Smuggler really incapped? Or is he gonna jump up suddenly, hit /lastditch, and send everyone to the cloner?
"I know what you're thinking. Did he get incapped or only feign? Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I've kinda lost track myself. But being as this is /LastDitch, the most powerful special in the game, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya punk?"

What does this do when you are at full health - in other words, what is the range? Before we had a 6X multiplier across the board; what's the minimum versus the max? Anyone know?

Very little damage. In exchange for losing all your health, action, and mind... great deal!

Last Ditch, My deffinition: Its either "Kill yourself and scratch your opponent; or kill your opponent and scratch yourself.".

That last part is how I feel a Smuggler character should be, not how it is(that I know of).

Hmm...last ditch with a flamethrower...aoe with fire dot.
Exxxxxxactly my second thought when I heard about the last ditch change. Although I'm more looking forward to low blow with a flamer, which was my first thought, due to the whole roasted nuts christmas imagery, I can see myself getting beat down on purpose just do do this. Makes me giddy.
In general I'm looking forward to the CU. Some aspects I hate and loathe and detest and wish they would go back to their level based fantasy roots and die a horrible horrible death, writhing and screaming in bloody agony. But for the most part it looks good.
