Dude I guess the correct slice 7 out of 10 times based on weapon Dam/Speed. Trust me it was luck and experiance with the system, nothing more. CRS knows nothing of professionsthey deal with in-game problems and will not give you the answer your looking for. But dont let me stop ya, good luck....

I usually stress to my customers that I cannot promise them a particualr slice and that if they tell me beforehand that the server gods have heard and will probably curse them with the opposite.

As far as anyone knows there is no way to CHOOSE the slice....
HOWEVER...did you check to see that they were the SAME VK's you gave him?
Because if HE had a crate of VK's (wholly possible, I hear people burn through those things), then he could simply have sliced a couple more. After all, one can GUESS what a slice MIGHT be during the slicing process (there are noticeable streaks). Or he could have simply handed you two already dmg. sliced VK's. Or, if you REALLY didn't look, just lied about what got sliced for what (most people don't check).
Or, since it's 50/50 he could have just gotten lucky.
