Thread: Term Expired..
Hmm I don't know what to say,
I think that what we "want" shouldn't really matter in this regard as your the only one that can decide if you want to do this. While I can't say your abscence was not noticed I can understand the reason but only you can see if that abscence will continue or not.
If you feel you will be absent or not able to relay information as much as another person could then maybe you should step down.
If you think it wont be a problem and you can serve the smuggler community with the same dedication and conviction as you have been then by all means stay.
Either way you will always have the Smuggler communities gratidute and support!!
I'd like for you to stay Wes. You're a great voice for the community and do a good job of voicing the same opinions that are the consensus on here. You know our issues, and more importantly, you feel the same way about them.
On a side note, I'd really like to avoid the off chance that someone who didn't quite know that much about the "community" or the profession. We've seen an influx of a lot of new people into our forum, and I think the vets would all be a little too raw from all the years of chaffing to stand in for you.
Oh yeah, and congrats on the final year man. Knowing that, I know you've got a lot of responsibilities. And while I appreciate your devotion to us in the matter... do what's best for yourself. In the end, it is still a game, and you are not getting paid for the work you do. You've done a great job, and I'd be angry with anyone who got annoyed that you put yourself first in this matter.
Wes, I am impressed with your work and dedication to this role you play in our online lives and would like very much for you to stay on as our correspondent.
However if the demands of school and life becometoo much for you to handle in addition to this role, then I will certainly understand it if you decide to pass the torch.
You've been a credit to this profession and am very glad you're representing us to the devs. No one else could do it any better.
Again Wes, thanks for keeping a level head and a strong voice, and good luck to the next idjit who thinks it might be fun to be the correspondent
