It is in no way an income source -- it's more of a public service. Grinding through sliced Imperial faction terminal missions are my primary source of income.

Ah so you're the other guy doing this. We should get together and price our stuff the same. See if we can make a little more jack.
I can't sell it on my vendor but I have to restock the bazaar every day or day and a half.
Half crates of clamps and and crates of knives sell a lot better than the spice. They really sell out fast. My best customers seem to be novice smugglers.

I do at my vendor in Lost Sanctum on Dantooine (5111, 2022). I'm putting in a spices guide so people see the advantages of using spice other then Muon and Neutron (I mean, booster blue is a kickin' spice and Thruster Head is a great alt to Canapes if you run out). I don't sell too much of stuff like Sweetblossom or Pyrepenol, but I do sell alot of Shadowpaw and Giggledust. Its not a huge moneymaker, but I do sell a decent amount there and on the Coronet bazaar.

I used to sell 1 million a week in spice (mostly muon @ 8k a crate) before the chef revamp. I no longer sell any.

I do. Just because I hate having a tree I don't use. And on some days, I'll sell 3 crates!! Which makes up for the week before that of not getting any sold. Yep.

a few weeks ago while i was grinding DF and Underworld on dantooine, every night i'd cook up about 12 muon golds and stick em on the bazaar at the mining outpost for 500c each. They sold out over night and then i had people whining it wasn't in crates. I don't think people will go out of their way to buy spice anymore, but if you put it where they are (like the dantooine mining outpost) it will sell.

I usually put up Shadowpaw at 1k a pop on the Theed Bazaar, or BoosterBlue/ThrusterHead at 2k a pop. They seem to do quite well, and I make a nice tidy profit (since 1k stacks of resources only cost 2-3k, as we dont care about resource quality), and only use up 15 units of each material. Add in the organics that I harvest from gaining Pistol XP (although I prefer to go against humanoids), and it's a nice little racket. Of course, I like to fight without buffs (except brandy, and certain chef foods, like Synthsteak), so I end up using way more of my own product than I sell. Not to mention, I make a ton more moneyrunning factionmissions than I do from the 2 or 3 spices I sell a day.

I don't sell spices nemore, although I make em for my PvP alt. they are godlike in PvP, the dude hits you in mind, pop a muon, hits in health/action/random, pop a pixie. they're great complement for chef food.
