Whoa! I leave for the weekend, and I almost missed my Appreciation Day!

*takes the microphone*

*ahem*

If we're celebrating, we should make it SMUGGLER APPRECIATION DAY! No need to devote one whole day to me, maybe an hour? EVERYONE deserves a celebration...just because we've waited a long time (and we're still waiting... ) We should all appreciate eachother, period. No matter what anyone else says, we're a real community, and I plan on keeping it that way.

*breaks out the rum*

Also, just so you all know, that girl on the right in the picture is my hawtness cousin. Single, 23 in July, and likes teh parties. And she likes video games too! Please send your applications to my email address.

Theed was a bustling commerce city...people hawked their wares, danced, laughed, dueled, and had a rollicking good time. Cantinas packed with Entertainers of every race, shape and size...along with scoundrels, Stormtroopers, and drunks. People grouped up and stuck together in the wilderness, and you ALWAYS took a Scout or a Ranger with you. We lived our own Star Wars saga. We created our own personas, our own histories, and it all blended into this wonderful, magical experience that I will always remember...

That magic is gone now, but I'd pay 50 bucks a month to have it back.

I usually don't get involved in the "Soandso is awesome" threads, but I think I'll make an exception for this one.

Veela sure got the short end of the stick last week. It appears we have some jerks in this profession that don't know not to shoot the messenger. I think the majority do appreciate Veela's looking out for us the way she does. I know I do. I have the ultimate respect for anyone who serves as a community leader in this forum. It can be a very thankless job at times, and people can be creeps, but thanks for your continued vigilance on our part.

So, Happy Veela Appreciation Day. I suppose tomorrow will be Veela's Cousin Appreciation Day.
