wasn't in beta but was around shortly after, and yea, those were the halcyon days. everything was so alive back then. I'm hoping by next year, all that will be left in this game are that kind of person. The people who are just here to have fun, and enjoy the starwars universe.

I wasn't in beta, but I did read the forums for a long time before the game went live. I rememebr the Shrub and the Force Sensitive Sheep. Also, the man with the fishing-pole was not named Heeb, but Feeb, and he played on Bria I believe, and he wrote damned humerous posts.

Feeb! Thats the guy!

For a short minute,..I even belived the fishing pole was a weapon. Till I saw him running from a aggro on corellia, pole in hand. Figured I had best stick with a CDEF

I'll have you know before I dropped TKM I used to knock the stupid out of people with a fishing pole. And various musical instruments.

I remember when static objects were attackable. Lol during one test session everyone was attacking the parasol, but doing no dammage =)

I also remember one test session that had combat turned off and no one had weapons, a mischieviousDev dropped a blaster on the ground. Everyone was gathered around that blaster trying tro pick it up. It was helarious

I wasn't in BETA, but I have heard a lot about the Holy Shrub. If only I could've been there to witness it's brillant power.
But I was there to witness the BallotTerminal of the Devil that sat out in the desert of Tatooine for many months. If you got too close to it, Jawas spawned and attacked.

I first logged into galaxies about a year ago (my wedding Anni co-incides with the 14 day trial that was released) i headed into the forums... I actualy made the pilgrimage to the loc where the shrub was supposed to have been... wanted to meet the "Servants of the Shrub... dunno if they are still there...was one of the many fun moments that were to be had in the game... before the dark times.... before.. the jedi....
