But will it ever work with the current chat channel setup? I know I've tried to join a channel on another server multiple times and it never worked, even if done exactly as NickHeel's/Ackehece's post describes.

Because we clearly don't spend enough time talking on the boards. We need to chat in-game as well.

You know we did get someone (Kaytlin maybe?) to join in to SIN from EQ2 once. How screwed up is that? So if we really want this to work, it's EQ accounts for us all.

You can do cross-game stuff from EQ2 to SWG, but you can't do different SWG servers in the same channel.

Why? Well, your (rather cynical) guess is as good as mine.

Because SWG was just the alpha test of EQ2.

Well, one problem here is that /join is used to join a group, as in the counterpart of /invite. I think its supposed to be /chatr join <channel>, but this dont work for me either.
