Can't we all just get along?
come on, pirates and ninjas don't have contradictory skillsets they have complimentary skill sets.

I find myself wondering how ninjas got associated with smugglers to begin with. Ninjas were assassins, right? Smugglers aren't assassins. My smuggler is more of a gambling scoundral who often gets tied up with shady deals and questionable legality.

Oh... D&D class, right? In SWRPG it would the scoundral, though a scoundral/soldier mix could be an assassin and a scoundral/noble mix would be a crimelord.

I would have to say I am more a ninja smuggler. I roleplay Maarkean as having been a real rogue/pirate/scoundrel. But he eventually became "enlightened" with the ways of the Teras Kasi and has since matured into a honorable and responsible leader who still has connections with the underworld. And tends to still indulge in the spice when necessary. And consort with some shady people. Okay, I admit it he is still a Scoundrel and Rogue just a fair bit more calm and lethal.

OK... I see where the ninja thing comes from in SWG now! The TK/Smuggler mix... I never thought about that since I've never been a melee profession except for the unarmed IV for smuggler.
No enlightenment here... just pistols.
