Thats exactly right.

On eBay I found a PVC kit that attaches on a replica Luger and can be painted.

You can find the "Airsoft" Luger for about 100$US on eBay too.

)Lugers rock, not as much stopping power as the .45, but they scream style.Before WWII the US was testingtwo .45 Lugers to replace the Colt 1911. That fell through, obviously. Serial numbers 1 and 2. Number 2 sold for something like 1,000,000 honest to God realUSdollars. Number 1 either disappeared or was destroyed in testing.
