Been there, done that, got the scars on my heart to prove it...

Try not to let it get you down too much, and know that you at least have people here for you...

People acting like honey to my face, and talking about me behind my back.

I don't want to delve further into it, but I feel disrespected, sad, and angry.

These are people I considered good friends, but I was wrong.

I am Jack's Smirking Revenge. I am Jack's Ignored Profession.
Theed was a bustling commerce city...people hawked their wares, danced, laughed, dueled, and had a rollicking good time. Cantinas packed with Entertainers of every race, shape and size...along with scoundrels, Stormtroopers, and drunks. People grouped up and stuck together in the wilderness, and you ALWAYS took a Scout or a Ranger with you. We lived our own Star Wars saga. We created our own personas, our own histories, and it all blended into this wonderful, magical experience that I will always remember...

That magic is gone now, but I'd pay 50 bucks a month to have it back.

Editor's Note: The author of the above post has quit giving SOE her money. She suggests you do the same, because this game will never be what you want it to be.

Don't you hate it when you find out that people you think were your friends kind of betrayed you?

I just found this out about some people elsewhere (nothere) last night, and I'm feeling kind of heartbroken.

I can't even bring myself to post in pink.

/sigh

Oh well, I guess Smugglers are supposed tobe loners.

I know exactly how you feel. Once I had a whole slew of friends. Some conditions in my life added up to a weird situation where I lost everything in my life. I had to live out of my car and try to still afford college. I know that might be too much information, but it was obviously too much for them.

It can be hard for others to not judge people to the point that they abandon or betray, but it feels really nice to actually have a few friends who accept you for who you are.

It is a tough subject, and I don't know what to tell you specifically to help ya, but I do know that learning to be able to live like a loner smuggler is kinda a cool experience.

Veela,

Just know that all of us smugglers are here for ya and those that happen to be on the same server *wink wink* will do what we can to help when this type of crap happens ( as it seems to be the norm for our server these days )

Later and hope you're feeling better

Hang in there, Veela. It will get better with time - besides, you still have all of us; just look at the turnout here in support. You got friends, sparky.
