I'm not a Jedi or a BH, but I was delighted tosee this:

Special Cases for Jedi and Bounty Hunters

The removal of TEF's will affect Jedi and Bounty hunters. Once a Bounty Hunter attacks a Jedi who he has a mission against, both the Bounty Hunter and the Jedi are forbidden from receiving a helpful action from any player. The Jedi and the Bounty Hunter can not be helped by anyone for the period of time after the attack begins.

The Vet stuff should be cool, especially the "For Home" stuff. Still, I'd rather be hearing more about the CURB or Smuggler Revamps. Still things are looking up.

No such thing!!

It's called having no life. And I'd have it no other way.
After all... if I did have a life, people would expect me to go outside!

I have a life! It's just... here.

PvP Disabled: Combatants Rebel and Imperial Soldiers who are PvP Disabled (Combatants) can only attack PVE enemies. They can help other PvP Disabled soldiers (Combatants) of the same faction and Civilians. Opposite faction NPC's will shoot on sight! Imperial NPC's will shoot Rebels on sight and Rebel NPC's will shoot Imperials on sight...this is war!

...means rebel smugglers will be loosing the skill of evading Imperial scanning teams. The changes easily outweigh any loss but still it isa loss to our profession.

You go on "leave" when your smuggling effectivley making you a civilian, since we need to keep a low profile when "moving cargo" it makes sense.

true, still would love to see a /maskfaction command tho, or some variation of it. especially since we have no smuggling missions that would render it necessary to go "on leave"

I agree it is a bit disconcerting, but it is not right that Meatlumps attack me on sight, while the opposing faction waits for me to attack first.

Yes, but with all due respect, shouldn't it actually be kind of hard to be a Rebel Smuggler?

It's not a loss to the profession; it's a loss to part of our profession.

Theed was a bustling commerce city...people hawked their wares, danced, laughed, dueled, and had a rollicking good time. Cantinas packed with Entertainers of every race, shape and size...along with scoundrels, Stormtroopers, and drunks. People grouped up and stuck together in the wilderness, and you ALWAYS took a Scout or a Ranger with you. We lived our own Star Wars saga. We created our own personas, our own histories, and it all blended into this wonderful, magical experience that I will always remember...

That magic is gone now, but I'd pay 50 bucks a month to have it back.

The way I see it is if your faction declared (either spec force or combatant) your not "smuggling" your actively aiding your faction....doing so with the full knowledge and suport of that faction...take for example pirates and privateers back in the days of sail governments would "sponsor" Privateers who would sail around stealing goods from merchant sailors flying under the colors of thier sponsor's enemy, but that sponsor wouldNOT claim ANY responsiblity for those privateers...so when looking to evade scans go "On leave" become a privateer .
