not the way i wanted to get it... at the loss of some other "real" information... but i'm very glad the official reasoning on the spice change will come from a red name and not you Caylin. I just hope a bit of the non-communication on the issue is addressed in the answer given as well.

But, isn't a no better than no answer at all? At least then you know not to focus your power to getting something done that never will get done.
It's aggravating, yes, but a "no" is infinitely better than no communication at all.
Absolutely. Now if only they'd stop just DOING things willy-nilly and put some thought into them.

I think what Caylin is referring to is that this weeks 19 Questions are suppossed t obe largely light-hearted questions.I belevie TH asked the correspondants to "go easy" on him with his time constraints regarding the fan fest. He didn't want to have to chase down the devs for answers.
Oh well, I trust Caylin gave them a whopper!

Ach, you know you've had too much to drink the night before when you see a post you have no recollection of writing.
Anyway, at least we'll be getting a substantial answer of sorts from him (albeit two months after the original question arrived). That is, whenever he deigns fit to post the answers..

Now we know where TH has been.
I assume he'll lie low for some time to come also.

WHAT THE **edit**!?!?!
An answer that ignores what we already know... and no switch to the spice question
As a developer myself I am generally inclined to easily remove an individual staff memeber from the project they are working on at any given time, and not make things personal because I know of the many forces at play - most not under an individual's control, but can someone please give TH some **edit** at FF over this?

Mr. Stangl [TH] has stated that smuggler is 'more of a space profession'. Given that the expansion is being described as a 'twitch-based fighter', how, specifically, is Jump to Lightspeed going to bring Smugglers closer to actual Smuggling, as opposed to giving us stuff to loot, things to slice and having our own ship to modify?"This issue is being discussed internally and as soon as I have some news, I will report to you on it.Sorry, but I can’t discuss it in any more detail than that currently.I know Smuggler’s are dying to find out what’s going on and as soon as humanly possible, I will let you know.
