I will probably slice for them, but it might take them a while to find me. I don't advertise that I'm a smuggler, so if I get an out of the blue tell, I'm gonna be suspicious and confer with my guildies about who dropped my name. If noone did, then I may refrain from slicing (unless the money is right. Pay up after the weapon is sliced, but before I give it back so I'm not killed while waiting for payment.) Or I might just be in a beligerant mood. never know. So my answer is a definite maybe.

I will slice for them even if they are imps .... if they decide then to come after me well ... may the best man win

Even if you personallydecide not to slice BH specific weapons someone else will. Even a noob smuggler slice is better than no slice and those guys are starvin for slicing xp. I imagine most BHs are like me and go through weapons very fast, so a sub master slice on one wep isnt the end of the world (youll be getting a replacement in a week or two anyhow).
I wouldnt even mind if a master smuggler who knew I was a BH decided to charge me 10k per slice, Id still pay it without complaint.
In short I as a BH see no problem with Smugglers raising their prices for BHs, do what you want. Bounty Hunters are accustomed to searching for folks, of the thousands of Smugglers on any server it shouldnt be too hard to find one to do the job.
Not sure its a good idea for Smugglers to show up on the BH terms though... fun yes (for the BH) but cant see it being much fun for the smuggler unless they somehow get a reward for surviving or killing the BH (ya right

I originally said NO, but after reading this thread I'm more inclined to do it. I don't think there'll be many BH leaving their tag up when they are looking for a slice. If they do I will offer the option of getting a free slice to watch my back as far as the terminals go. I don't think we'll be able to convice all of the BHs to do this, so we will still have to keep our eyes open.

If you dont want Bh to come after you with sliced weapons and such heres what you do,if one askes you to slice something just cut the wrong wire ,then it cant ever be sliced. Problem solved.

Lol! Id like to see a Bh hunter try to kill me. Just pick up master Tk to go with it (and pistoleer) and they dont tand a chance. Although this will be after the combat revamp wont it.....

I'm all for being visible on a BH term. This prof should be a dangerous, back watching, game of cat and mouse IMO. If you're the honest smuggler you generate no visibility but if you cross Jabba you should expect to be hunted. Its a consious choice you make out of greed to be hunted. I have no problem with that and the deathblow it might bring.
Just go at it with the mind of a goldfish and its all fun. At least if you kill the BH hunting you they can't send you tells saying how there just a dancer or w/e. At least they can't claim they weren't looking for a fight and are just overt because they're "roleplaying". If smugglers that get hunted by BH's cry when they're defeated then they shouldnt be double crossing NPC crimelords in the first place.
Someone will slice for BH's of course. But I'm sure I'm not the only guy who who prefers to keep his true profession (MS) unknown to the general public. The people who respect me before they know I'm master smug are the only people I slice for anyway.
I think the whole visibility deal will direct players in both profs to be more secretive about their buisiness and services, which seems right to me. This is the crimeworld afterall not some country club but of course some hunted hearts will end up broken.

I should be harder to find a smuggler than to just look at the tag above his head.There should also be an option to hide the profession badges in your bio if you dont want anyone to know what you are or were.
