Wouldn't it be stupid to have 5,000 "The Ones" running around? Would they have to rename it "The Many"?

Don't waste your time, money, or hard drive space on other MMORPGs. SWG still kills everything else on the market even with all it's problems. I've quit the game 2 times now to play WoW and EQII. They just flat out suck compared this game.
Dunno. I'm still half-hooked on EVE... Though the playerbase for that game is small compared to this one.
But the graphics are gorgeous, it has a rich and detailed sci fi backstory, there's no xp grinding (which is at times both a good and a bad thing), the PVP system makes sense from a RP standpoint, it has a single server which pushed 13000 simultaneous connections a couple weeks ago, they are adding new starshipsand trainable skills all the time, it has a fairly deep player driven market, the devs actually have teams of people who go in and generate dynamic quest content with the players, players can be featured in global news articles...
Edit: And 5000 star systems.
The only thing it lacks is style and ship visualcustomizability. And it has a fairly sleep learning curve and can be somewhat slow paced.
I think the only thing that has been keeping me stuck to SWG was because I joined a PA here first.
