3K a slice, but if the range, speed, encumberance, or effectiveness is increased by a factor of 30% or more I charge 5K. Slicing and Spicing is never enough to make a good living on, that's why I usually run sliced Mokk Missions on Dantooine for 43-44K a piece. If the slice doesn't go your way on the terminal you can still easily find 30K missions.

on intrepid i charge a flat 3k for any item sliced, no matter what % since it's alwasy better than nothing.

I charge 100cr per %. if I hit under 15% i dont charge. Maybe this is low but i get lots of repeat customers which would make up for it. I normally create my own clamps and knives as i go (cant figure out why we cant build auks and wuks)

I have been charging 100cr per %. It seems reasonable, but I have been thinking of charging more. Do the people charging 5k a slice get griped at or are your customers pretty happy with the service. My averageis about 25-30% so I think I can ask for it.

Nope. Only two refusals due to price (7k weapons, 5k armour). The onyl other time someone said no was because they were simply too poor at the time, eyt they thought the pricing was fair. As long as yer nice to your customers most dont seem to mind the price.

5k seems about standard these days. still you get tards who want to respond with "ouch" or something lamer., i just answer them with silence, and wait for them to iniatiate trade.

Heh I was happy the other night... For some reason I was the only smuggler in coronet ^^


Didn't hear to many complaints then.......


Although I dont really care fi they're idiots in tells, its when they're idiots in spatial that both I and my toher customers start to get a lil grouchy....

5K a slice for me weapons or armor.


I do give discounts on large orders, but I take either resources, creds or an exchange for hot Geno's.


Now, I had someone who wanted me to do 250 weapons for him. He would supply the WUK's and 1200 a slice.


My materials, high Con copper cost me more in making the kives and clamps I would have needed for this. So I asked for resources to make up for my loss of materials. In fact twice the amount so I could have a substantial amout to use later. This was to bring my price for slicing closer to his price.

He objected saying materials don't mean a thing, it's all random, you are lying about being a smuggler ...etc.


I explained a good 600 damage Power Hammer can sell for 2-3 million creds. So who was ripping who here?


Now, there are times of the day that are better for damage slices tan others. I use a crate of knives to determine that and start in on the weapons. The materials do matter I think, even if the Damage/Speed is random. I have found the better materials give you a better chance on the 25% and up normal slice and 30-36% on a more frequent occurence.


He didn't believe me. So he lost out.
