In my province, not so many years ago, this was the case. Anyone clasified as 'legally retarded' was taken by the government and sterilized. Big lawsuits and such now.
Well, my feeling this way is probably because I work in retail and end up dealing with stupid people.
why is it that the smartest of us end up in crappy retail jobs serving retards. I dont know if anyone else would find this funny but it makes me laugh when a customer comes to the counter with a dvd or a game and asks
"can i buy this please"?
noBS i am so tempted to say NO just to see the look on there face
or the ones that come to the counter and walk past the giant Star Wars display and ask
"have you got Star Wars to buy"?

For me as a non-native speaker it is always fascinating to see how native speakers manage to butcher their language. At times I also feel incredibly old when I see abbreviations and I have not the slightest clue what people are talking about. 
I know I've done things to English which have made the language itself cry out in pain, but I do try to keep what I write understandable, and write similarly to how I talk(saying "gonna" instead of "going to" for example).
I think what bothers me are not typos or so - since I know a lot of people don't use the 10-finger-system to write. Nevertheless I get the meaning of their words just fine. Same goes for writing things as you would say them - like "gonna", "kinda" etc. What ticks me off are people that manage to write sentences with single syllable words or abbreviations - for example: "k l8ter m8 need 2 log 4 now cba 2 w8 longer tbh". *runs away screaming*
