This post reminds me of this one guy who came to the BH forums asking, nay BEGGING for PvP advice. It seems his wife, who was a melee/doc template, would always track down his bounty hunter and challenge him to a duel, which he was obligated to accept. After his wife won the duel, she would always DB him.
It was kinda funny and sad at the same time, you didn't know whether to laugh at him or feel pity for him.

No. 18-22 year old girls like the tall, dark, hansome, and "mysterious" guys. It's the late 20's to early 30's that like the sweet, kind, guy!!! <-------- This I discovered. Didn't have any dates for my early to mid 20's, now I can't keep them off me in my mid to late 20's! LoL

well she likes star wars soshe watched me play occationally.
then i let her creat a character with a trial account. this is handy cause i find women like to do this part. making the character look just right. i think my wife worked on hers for about 2 hrs.
then i helped her through some early parts of the game and introduced her to my friends and my guild, who all helped to get her going.
at first she didnt seem to be interested, but i know she pushed on in those first couple weeks cause she loved me (sappy moment).
eventually she made her own way and found her own path to follow. this is the key to our game IMO. it really boils down to one overall question:
"if you could live in the star wars universe... what would YOU do?"
my wife is a doctor and a swordmen and we have many adventures together
I wish my Fiancé liked Star Wars a little more... or would play this game with me. She is addicted to City of Heroes though, which bought me a little leverage when it comes to me playing so much. But she's a lot worse than I ever was... well, except for those first 5 or 6 months.

Goliath, I think your only aided by the fact that you work for the same company that makes the game. Kind of a psychological touche you can use on your wife. "But honey, I work for these people, what do you mean you don't want to support my career."Oh I think many of us wish we could use that little guilt trip. The... 'I need to play games all the time for my job' thing don't fly with 99% of women, cause we don't work in the games industry.

mmm I don't know.... I am on the IT field and when I spend too much time at home on the computer I get a "You work on a darn computer all day, can't you do something else in the evening??" hehehehe

....although when I had her playing all I heard over my shoulder was "I go Berserk" over and over...so I know she enjoyed it.....lol.
