Rather than simply bumping this, I thought I'd contribute a bit...
What ship chassis from the game are people picturing for each of the ships?
My opinions - The first stolen one, I'm thinking a very beaten-up YT-1300. Spakta's ship was either a firespray or another, much better-cared for YT (or something not in the game). The Ugly Lump (edit: Oops, Angry Knob... guess we know what I thought about it
), I see as a Rihkzyrk; something like a big lump of metal with some engines bolted on.

this made me want to drag up my Chronicles of the Crimson Flare I used to write in the Pilot Forums. I've been working on a much larger one than these shorts but I may bump them up here in the Smugg boards, might get some lovin for em hehe.

When I saw the High Tide in my mind, I saw it as a slightly more practical version of the SoroSuub. Some guns, a bit less luxury, but the same basic shape. The Angry Knob I envisioned originally like the Moldy Crow, but cut back so drastically as to be comical and ill-proportioned. I'm making a conscious effort to have future ships be more readily identifiable as in-game models, where appropriate.
Sorry I haven't written, but my hours have been goddawful. Last weekend was supposedly my last swingshift for a while, but I've been working a swing for the last 2 months. Not a normal swing, but one where I did 3 afternoons, 2 midnights, and a dayshift (some 12, some 8) in that order. Worked out to like 12 days on, 2 days off, 12 days on... and it's just SUCKED entirely. Also, I've had to train new folks at all hours, leaving me no time to do anything but crawl home and pass out.
Sunday was my last midnight shift, so I should be straight afternoons for a month or two. I laid awake last night for 4 hours trying to re-plot the next episode. Once my sleep cycle stabilizes, I'll be back at it.
I appreciate the continued bumps and such. Thanks again!

Khyron42 - that was a good post. /applaude!
When I thought of the stolen ship I was thinking of a old Nova courrier.
With Spakta's ship I saw a YT type but not the 1300 - the Corellian Ships all share the same type of features, But I thought I saw it once to be like a mini verison of the corellian corvette.
As for the Angry Knob I always pictured a stretched Z-95 with delta wings instead of the long ones they norally have. Like someone pulled from both ends and then stuck a straw into and blow it out to give it some room.
/2 creds worth.
Heya Frank, good to hear from you and see your still amgost the living. Myshop and I would like to say that you are doing a greatjob -but hmmm...we need a little something for the ticks manwhile we're outon the pacific ocean atm.

Haven't forgotten.
Got the next one about 1/3 written, but have been busy (as always) at work. Keeping my house up when I'm not at work has been a PITA, but should lessen a bit in the near future. I should have some time this weekend, but I promise nothing.
(although while rototilling a garden today I did plan out the next few stories)

Oh man I was all amped up about the next installment when I saw it at the top of the forums with a post by FrankLee. Man its like watching one of those movies where they keep giving you cleavage shots but you never ever get to see more than that. Taunting, teasing, toying with your desire....um nm I need to go out tonight.

[edit] Hmm. Still no new Dallet. I hope everything's okay. I'm going to have to go re-read the series to refresh my memory...
