If you're going to proclaim a religious or non religious belief, please learn how to spell it.
Atheist.
In this case, the i comes after the e. Sorry, but people who mispell this and proclaim they are one just is a large peeve of mine.
I myself am atheist and have been for 11 years now. But, Christmas (25 December)in its own right started as a roman holiday to celebrate the birth of the sun, not the Holy Child.Christmas is a time of the year where you get together to give thanks for your family, friends, possessions, so forth. Christmas is a time where you give, not worry about recieving. The concept of this is a Christian based concept, but you do not have to be Christian to celebrate thanks.

I got a bunch of DVD's and a care bear 
I'm 28 and my mother gave me a care bear because it's the one I always wanted as a kid and never got and now that they are out again she bought it for me...*giggle* made me smile.

Overall a good time was had by all. Got to spend some good time with a close friend, and with my brother and his wife. Actually I think this was one of the better Christmases for a while now. AND I got to sleep in on Christmas morning

- I got me a whole bunch of band t-shirts: (1) Guns 'N Roses, (2) Led Zeppelin, (1) Velvet Revolver, (2) AC/DC.
- I also got the Family Guy shirt I wanted that was the spoof off of those Zail's commercials. You know, where they have the diamond on the shadows and they play the classical music? Then Family Guy spoofed it where the chick shadow got the ring and dropped to her knees on the guy shadow then the text reads "Diamonds. She'll pretty much have to." That's what the shirt says

I think this was my first Christmas getting a bunch of small gifts instead of like a couple small things and one big thing. I dunno, it's fun

Funny that you corrected some guy because he got the I and the E the wrong way around in atheist, then you go and spell receiving wrong!

Its not necessarily that I'm a nitpick about spelling, just that particular word. Since I am an atheist and no one can spell atheist right.

Stationed in Korea without my family, I sent the wife a "message in a bottle" containing a poem I wrote. Spent three days trying to get the words right. The kids got the usual things they wanted,..clothes, music, toys. Our dog passed away this christmas, but things happen.
The BEST thing though,..I am finally going home in January!!!! Back to civilian life, 9-5 job, PTA, suburbia,....mowing my yard in knee high black socks and bermuda shorts. And NO MORE missing christmas!!!

I got this t-shirt that is just too funny from a guild mate. I'm a Ninja (my guild name) but I'm also (according to my forum Icon) a Pirate. The shirt has a cartoon pirate and cartoon ninja locking sword and hook, it reads: "Ninja's and Pirates dont get along". Its a silly shirt but very fitting my guild and profession. So now do I hate myself?
