"people" also understand that this revamp was called for ages ago and that it was being worked on.
Since there have been numerous other revamps including two for jedi, a pvp bounty system for jedi, something with chefs, and 2 expansions.
All of which came out on time.
COnsider another post back that stated that the dev team is split on may projects. Also consider the amount of time this revamp was supposedly worked on.

Yep, we had a revamp in the works about this time last year, scheduled to go live in August.

Guess what stopped it? Not Jedi. Our own community.

Why?

IT WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH FOR US.

You should really do your homework before posting nonsense like this. Our first draft revamp of last year wasn't good enough (we figured we waited so long, they they had better do it right,) and we said it would be better to push it back until after JtL. Then, before JtL launched, the CU got pushed back, effectively pushing back our revamp to -gasp- about this time.

Seperate teams, yes...however, there are things that happen internally that cause all new content to be pushed back; in this case, it was RotW and the CU.

Cryyourself a river, build a bridge, and get over it. I've been a Smuggler since August of 03, and I don't have time to wade through posts like this.

I am Jack's Smirking Revenge. I am Jack's Ignored Profession.
Theed was a bustling commerce city...people hawked their wares, danced, laughed, dueled, and had a rollicking good time. Cantinas packed with Entertainers of every race, shape and size...along with scoundrels, Stormtroopers, and drunks. People grouped up and stuck together in the wilderness, and you ALWAYS took a Scout or a Ranger with you. We lived our own Star Wars saga. We created our own personas, our own histories, and it all blended into this wonderful, magical experience that I will always remember...

That magic is gone now, but I'd pay 50 bucks a month to have it back.

Editor's Note: The author of the above post has quit giving SOE her money. She suggests you do the same, because this game will never be what you want it to be.
