use disarmingshot when firing the rocket and they'll stay down longer as long as you don't attack them

also burstshot sticking 100% seems to be different from what i'm getting lol
i'll have to use it more often to see, i had switched to confusion shot for a nonaoe and it having two states

You know, that might just be the trick...disarm and KD all in one shot. Too bad I can't use it

Confusionshot had Savvy very disappointed. It didn't stick reliably at all. It only stunned two times in 24

BTW what is the cooldown time on that rocket launcher? Is it time efficient or no?

BTW if anyone knows of any other threads that give good info on these topics just let me know. I'd love to incorporate them into this thread as a more comprehensive body of work.

thx

i believe people have an innate knockdown timer.... once you've been knocked down, it takes a while to easily get knocked down again
i believe this timer is 30s

when i was commando, i actually only used the rocket launcher for long range

and the only thing i don't like about burstshot is the aoe
good in some situations, but in others, you'll have 498749328 mobs chasing after you, really pissed off
i've noticed that confusion shot did seem to stick very infrequently myself and pretty much gave up on it

Kipupshot, diveshot and rollshot all modify my defenses with 40 "to my advantage" according to the hovering thing below my character.

+40 Defense, not -40?

my understanding of it is that once prone or kneeling or whatever you get the def and acc bonus associated with the position. but using the kip or dive etc gives you a -40 for a few seconds as you are in the process of changing postures

In which case the +40 modifer I'm definitely getting whenever I use them means the total effect on mycharacter is +-0?

I'll check again sometime, but I'm prety sure the state icon you get is -40 defense for about 4 seconds after you do the posture change, then the positive modifiers for being in the posture take over.
