now i think the guy has something with the innate armour. I dont see the need for unarmed specials, since we have enough tricksy mezzes and such. But Smuggler should be about style, and armour really hinders that.

We are supposed to be really lucky folks ( doesnt slicing exp convert to force luck exp or whatnot), so why not have an innate defense? It makes perfect sense that in our patchwork backgrounds we have learned how to dodge a blaster or two, or roll with a really tough punch, only to get up and make our escape.
