Any new Smugglers are going to have a tough time getting what they need.

Remember spamming for containers at starports? Now people will be spamming for toolkits.

I looted an Illegal core booster in the Endor system. I had the Storm Squadron tier 4 destroy duty (Red Skull Pirates) Also at about the time the thing dropped I vaped some of the tier 4 Ayt'something pirates that happened to be in the middle of my mission spawn.

I charge 50K per slice, and that's only if they provide their own components. If they don't, it's much, much more.

Silly people. Don't you know that nothing will ever drop. They tricked us. Probably they are going to convert our proff over to Jedi. Then they will systematically convert all xp to force xp and all other professions to Jedi.Then the name of the game will change to SW:Jedi and they will crossover characters from WOW and hell, Matrix online, and Luke will be "the one." And Lando won't blow up the deathstar because by the time ROTJ rolls around a jedi named Mr. Smith will have infected every one in the galaxy and turned them all into Jedi. Therefore peace, therefore the end of the game! And then the smuggler loot will drop. But no one can use it because there will be no smugglers!

whats going to have to happen is people are going to just loot their own stuff and bring it to a smuggler since we can't get it our selfs in high quantities. it will be cheaper for them too.

I spent hours killing Lok mercenaries until Lok got all Bugged and the mission spawns disappeared whenever you got near them. Also wasted about 100 Black Sun Pirates, not a simple toolkit or illegal core booster. Nothing.... perhaps the drop rate is so ridiculous that it is a better idea to make customers supply their own components? At least it's not a waste of time. I got lots of credits for the components looted off the pirates and for the missions. Probably made more credits than the pre publish 19 slicing business!

I have been getting plenty of simple toolkits and a few finely crafted toolkits off low-level faction NPCs, like lvl 25 Stormies. The high end stuff, like Delicate TriggerAssembly, Illegal Core Booster and Mandalorian Infraframe I have been getting from Krayt dragons, they drop one of the top-tier smuggler components on maybe 1 in 3 kills. Juvenile, Regular Canyon, Giant Canyons all drop the smuggler components.

May be just luck, but I have have never gotten a Reactive Micro Plating, I have around 20 Mandalorian Infraframes, no Micro Plating.

You've been finding ICBs from Krayts?? I've found Delicate Trigger Assemblies and Mandalorian Intras by the masses from them, but no Illegals at all yet. I've never seen one on the global vendor search either, whereas there are usually a half-dozen DTAs and Mandos up at any given moment (all listed at a half-mil or more, haha).
