Other than the fact that the new pricing system on perks will make the surplus business a complete nightmare to keep up with, I guess it'll be alright.


We'll have to see how it shakes out after everything settles in to a routine...


Something tells me the next few days are going to be hell though...

I am still having problems with buying faction with just underworld 4. Perhaps its cause I am an Imperial Colonel and have rebel faction points?

That shouldn't have anything to do with your problem. I did quite a few tests on TC-Gorath as a Rebel with +Imperial FP, and an Imperial with +Rebel FP, and never had any problems getting the recruiter of my faction to talk to me.


If you're still not getting the option to buy points, /bug it in game. That's the best I can tell ya...

I like it for the most part, however, there is one major issue.


Feign death no longer works in PvP, thanks to people who abused and exploited it.


This is a blow to my character, a Master Commando/1310 Smuggler, who enjoys PvP but just doesn't want to make some cheap template. It's all thanks to the Jedi/BH crap. I'd like to see this fixed, instead of breaking it for smugglers and everyone.



Its like going to an amusement park and having a group of rogue Llamas preventing people from getting on a ferris wheel or a roller coaster. People going to the amusement park expect animal control to come in and remove the rabid Llamas.

Yepp, one time I was on Chimaera in Bestine and was witness that the fish-school theory about Jedi must be true. As there was a big group of light and dark Jedi fighting with each other. From my view near the Starport entrance looking to the bazaar/bank park.


The group of Jedi where moving towards the hotel area, leaving dead non-Jedi behind and moved out of sight, just to rush towards the cantina leaving more non-Jedi dead. Then the group fought in front of the bazaar/bank park again. Rushing to the starport entrance to maybe kill a poor looser who just loaded into the starport... I dunno, i just logged.




We couldn't play SWG without Tiggs. Now we can =)

The only real difference that I've noticed is:

1) Jedi gank squads running around.... like it takes three of them to go after one afk guy.

2) I can hunt all the rebels I want to in the middle of town. Better than farming thugs, I guess...

Happens for 2 reasons:


a) You don't have enough FP to gain the next rank.


b) You're a Colonel and can't gain anymore rank.

Something occuered to me as i was running around checking out the new NPC guards. I checked my faction. It was up 2k since the morning.


I was not trying to farm basically killing those NPCs that attacked me and making notes on how tough they where.

From a factioned smugglers point of view I am starting to think that this will be really bad for faction point sales. I mean if you get faction that easy and that fast why would you ever buy it?

because you need 60k+ to get the largest base? People are lazy and have too much money in this game anyway. They'll be willing to spend the money b/c they don't want to wait.

what about ST armor, it cost twice as much now... it's not like people could afford it before, and now a suit cost what? 35k faction? People will be buying plenty when the curb comes out...
