Man if that is what is it (CU weapons) with no mention of Smuggler or profession re-vamps you will have a great many smugglers (myself as well) very pissed off.

A Smuggler asks "you guys gonna throw us smugglers a bone" and the response is wait as look for an anouncement and its not smuggler related...well thats just mean.
Im so frustrated with SOE at the moment, they are doing a great job with the GCW and other changes seem to be moving in the right direction but the one thing at the top of my list is Smuggler and they have and keep d*cking us around. Well no use getting upset yet, guess we will wait and see.

I would like it if theywould do those four part Friday Features every Friday. Part 1: CU Weapons II - Part 2: Smuggler Revamp - Part 3: CURB Beta starts Monday - Part 4: 9 New Ships for JTL in next publish...

Last Friday the feature was posted toward 7 EST, and it is only 4:40EST, so let's be patient.
Yimaz, whatever is announced today, maybe it is not what Tyrant was refering to. So if we see nothing smuggler related tonight I would wait a few days more before getting all pissed.
As for revamp news, I doubt it is that: they already said it was after the CURB AND they said they would not talk about stuff before they are ready to work on them. So I don't expect revamp news. I sure hope I'm wrong tho. hehehe News about the work they *started in January* would be nice eh?

7 PM is not what I'd call a Friday Feature. It's a Friday's Mostly Gone Feature and if they're going to have a Friday Feature, it should be prepared prior to Friday and be posted early Friday so people can discuss it with Dev interaction.
The way it is, they throw it up and head out the door for the weekend, like it's something to fear posting, kinda like the FD thing.
Aw, and I wasn't going to gripe about Smuggler stuff in this one, but it just slipped out...
