"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. We don't even HAVE a damn TV, much less a broken one or a "broken" one by Jedi standards. I'd LOVE to be as "broken" as they are." - The Legendary Solo4114

I actually saw one complaining they hadn't had any attention since the big revamp back in pub 11(?, I forget, I was here when it went live though).
Just last month they got the visibility removed for grouping.
BH can no longer take a mission for an offline jedi.
Sounds like attention to me.

We got this spiffy new slicing system.
I'm so glad, it was so broken before.
Well, it wasn't perfect, but it wasn't broken.

Basically it sounds like jedi are getting some nice spiffy new stuff. Not really a revamp, more like a whole publish, or possibly an expansion.
While at the same time, they're telling us that they don't have the resources to give Smugglers any good changes or fixes.
Jedi gets two publishes in less than a year and we get shat on again.

Looks as though I'll be canceling my station pass in another 25 days.

Sorry, I forgot that we got the 'smuggling missions' now, but only if you've bought the Rage Of The Wookiees expansion.

My SWG Observations

If they stopped the expansions for one year and gave quality revamps to the professions that need it most, many people would resubscribe.
With all the resubs, and the new players, there would then be plenty of money to hire enough people to do 2-4 quality revamps per year plus 1-2 larger expansions per year and/or 2-4 smaller expansions per year, and not give the BigWigs a pay cut. (Possibly even an increase)

Because there's no way we could know that.


And SOE couldn't really be so clueless as to do something like that. They would be smart enough to realize how enraged the the non-jedi playerbase would be at the very idea, wouldn't they? Of course they would.

Based on what I've seen in the past (and the responses in this thread), I'd bet ya 10 years subscription they are that clueless.

Actually, I take that back, the people who do the real work (coders, testers, writers, etc) aren't that clueless.
The beancounter/marketers/suits are.
